Recover Data From Your iPhone – Deleted Contacts, Deleted SMS, Text, iMessages, and more!

If you think deleting text from a phone means it is gone forever, you better think again!

The iRecovery Data Recovery Stick for iPhone can recover deleted items from an iPhone or iPad – even when the user thought was gone forever, the data is still there temporarily.

It'll soon be gone forever if you allow the phone to be used too much. If you have iOS 12, the time-to-recover SMS messages is even shorter (See the F.A.Q.). So recover devices ASAP.

You could recover deleted contacts, text and SMS messages, iMessages, or anything else that may have disappeared from the phone. Even photos once thought hidden are found by iRecovery.

The iRecovery is a small, thumb sized, USB stick. Connect the iOS device to a PC with the iRecovery. Press a button and the iPhone Data Recovery Stick retrieves loads of information. Recover things that you thought were lost from your iPhone (or hidden by those conniving kids).

Compatible with all iPhones including the new iPhone XR, iPhone XS/Plus and any iPad!

  • Monitor how your son or daughter uses the iPhone, text messaging and internet use
  • Recover from iTunes Backups, even encrypted backups.
  • Restore deleted files and data
  • Find deleted contacts and calls
  • Find photos stored on the phone, see Internet history and cookies, GPS routes (See the FAQ), and more

How It Works:

4 Easy Steps:

Step 1. Plug your iPhone into a PC**.

Step 2. Plug the iRecovery Stick into the PC's USB port.

Step 3. Follow the on-screen instructions for installation.

Step 4. Run iRecovery. Get text messages, contact info, browser history, call logs, e-mails, GPS Data *(see FAQ)*, photos & more!

**Don’t have the iPhone? No worries, iRecovery can import the iPhone’s data through its backup files stored on the computer it syncs to, even if the backups are encrypted!

The recovery process will also download the contents of the phone such as contacts, call history, text messages, iMessage, pictures, and all other user data that can normally be backed up.    Because of its versatile recovery capabilities and easy-to-use interface, the iRecovery Stick is ideal for professionals and concerned parents.

Recover data from "Hide Away Safe" apps

Parents. Listen up! Apps designed to look like normal apps (like a calculator) are actually hiding images your kids don't want you to discover. If you need to protect your kids and peek inside these apps for photos, iRecovery can help. When all you want to do is find these photos, the iRecovery Stick can bypass the PIN or password (however, a PIN is needed when you need to do a full recovery). See photos on over 30 popular photo hiding apps and recover all the hidden pictures. Secret Photo, Secret Folder, Calculator Lock and More. Pictures are not so hidden any more. You may have seen apps like this on ABC's "How to get away..." show.

What Data Can Be Located and Recovered?

The iRecovery Stick will locate and recover any data on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch. The information is presented in a simple read format. You may browse and sort by: number, data, type, and duration.

Windows support

The iRecovery Stick runs on Windows. It currently supports any modern iPhone running up to iOS 12.

*Please Note: PIN or iTunes required!

You must have the PIN for locked phones before performing a full recovery from the device OR you must have access to the iTunes used to backup the phone.

How far back can I recover deleted data?

If you are using iOS 11.4.1 or older, there is no set time limit to recover deleted files. Instead, it depends on how you use your phone. If the phone wants to use the space where a deleted file is placed, it will overwrite the file. Therefore, data can be come unrecoverable anytime you add something new to the phone. This can happen in less than a day or more than several months - it just depends on how you use your phone. For example, if you delete something and immediately add a large file that takes up most of the phone's memory, you may not be able to recover the full file. On iOS 11.4.1 or newer (including iOS 12) there is a time limit on recovering SMS. More details are below...

What types of data can I recover?

You can recover text messages, contacts, call history, and calendar entries from iPhones. iRecovery also retrieves several other types of data (pictures or browsing history) that might be hidden or hard to find without the iRecovery.

How do I update my iRecovery Stick?

Your iRecovery Stick comes with free updates. To update your iRecovery Stick, run the program, click on the Tools menu and select "Check for updates". You can also visit the Paraben website by typing this into your browser:

Will iRecovery Stick work on iOS 12?

Yes, but there are some things you'll need to know: the window of opportunity to recover deleted SMS messages has been greatly reduced due to changes Apple has made in iOS 12.

In iOS 3.2 - iOS 11 messages could be recovered for days, months or even longer. However, with iOS 12 Apple made a big change in how messages are stored. Because of that change, deleted messages are only recoverable from the device for 24 hours after they are deleted -- unless you take a few extra steps:

For important investigations, Paraben has recommended daily iTunes backups on devices, along with creating an archive of those backups. Paraben's recommendation of archiving the backups adds an extra step, but it has the advantage of allowing future proofing for data recovery... i.e. If Paraben releases a new feature, then having an archive of backups allows you to investigate those backups.

We recommend you simply make a routine of running iRecovery Stick every 24 hours on a fresh iTunes backup and save your results. This method isn't as future proof as Paraben's, but it is simple. It only requires you 1.) backup your iPhone with iTunes every day (which is good practice to do) and 2.) saving your iRecovery results before the next backup (which is very easy).

To be clear (iOS 12):

Users Recovering SMS from an iTunes backup of iOS 12 can recover any deleted SMS 24 hours before that backup was preformed. This recovery can happen whenever, but the recovery will not be able to see prior to 24 hours of the backup. (E.g. the SMS was deleted Monday, backed up on Tuesday, can be recovered any time as long as the backup isn't altered).

Users Recovering SMS from an iPhone running iOS 12 have 24 to recover deleted SMS messages. iRecovery must be run within 24 hours of the deleted SMS to hope to recover it. (E.g. the SMS was deleted Monday, iRecovery must be run no later than Tuesday.)

Is the PASSCODE required?

The iRecovery Stick will not work on phones with a passcode lock. To disable the passcode lock, you must first have the existing passcode to get access to your phone. Once you access the phone, go to Settings, then go to General, then Passcode Lock.

Does the iRecovery Stick run on macOS?

No. The iRecovery Stick only runs on Windows based operating systems. If you have a Mac that has Windows, it should work, but it is not compatible with macOS.

How fast does it work?

Generally, recovery takes 20 minutes per GB of storage space on an iPhone, however, if there is very little data on the iPhone, it can take as little as 15 minutes. If you are loading backup files from iTunes, it only takes a few minutes to recover the data.

Does the iRecovery Stick get installed on my computer?

No, the iRecovery Sticks operates directly from the USB stick.

How do I check for new updates?

Updates do come out from time to time to ensure the most data possible and to support new versions of iOS (the iPhone operating system). Under the Tools menu at the top of the program is an update option. You must be connected to the Internet for it to complete an update. You can also visit the Paraben website by typing this into your browser:<

Does this work on iPad or iPod Touch?

Yes. However, because these devices are not phones, you will not get SMS or phone logs.

What if I need technical help and support with the iRecovery Stick?

No problem at all!  Technical support for the iRecovery stick is provided directly through the manufacturer.  Please refer to your product packaging and box for this information.

Is GPS Recovery supported?

If your phone is running iOS v4.3.2 or earlier, the iRecovery will recover every data location point stored in your phone. Apple stopped storing GPS data in areas recoverable by the iRecovery Stick in iOS version 4.3.3.  For example, one phone we tested this feature on had over 10,000 tracking points showing a detailed history of every location that phone was in for the last two years. The data is displayed in Google Earth (separate install) and includes time/date stamps of each location.  Bottom line, older iPhones using iOS v4.3.2 or earlier get reliableGPS, but GPS tracking is limited on iPhones using iOS 4.3.3 and later.
